Steven Lucero is a traditional Spanish blacksmith artist specializing in Southwest Spanish style, hand-forged iron work. He has been a Santa Fe native with over 19 years forging experience. Lucero has won numerous awards to include New Mexico Spanish Market, New Mexico State Fair and numerous other Southwest art shows.

In 1989, Lucero was an apprentice of Tomas Arrey, a native blacksmith and Spanish Market artist. Lucero was accepted in Spanish Market starting in 1996.

Steven Lucero has several works in the collection of Museum of New Mexico, Museum of Spanish Colonial Arts and numerous other private collections.

Steven Lucero provides custom work for contractors, furniture makers, home owners, and traditional art collectors.
