26.75" x 30.5" framed. Very good condition. Acquired from a private collection in Missouri. According to the Boss Family, this piece was given to a niece of Homer. In the artist's catalogue, the painting has the following description: Near Chimayo, $700, oil, 20 x 25, Conical hill center of canvas--pink top--grey base. Stormy sky behind violet mts. Rich greenish foothills. R.V. foreground--deep erosion.
