Alleman, Carol
Bronze sculptor Carol Alleman uses the lost wax casting method to create her exquisite vessel shapes - an ancient, feminine form that the artist instills with organic motifs and warm patinas. The artist believes that each piece speaks to the viewer and includes companion works with each bronze to share the inspiration of the work with its new caretaker. Alleman has an extensive background in art education, both as a student and as a teacher. She has been featured in many national publications, juried exhibitions, and private and museum collections, including the permanent collection of the Tucson Museum of Art.
