Marianne Navasie (1951-2007) - Hopi Polychrome Bowl c. 1970-80s, 3" x 5.25"

This pottery is in very good condition. There is some slight surface wear. Signed by the artist on the bottom. Marianne Navasie was the daughter of Joy "Frogwoman" Navasie, and granddaughter of Paqua Naha, the original "Frogwoman". Marianne often signed her work with a frog and tadpole. Her work carried on the traditions of the "Frogwomen". She is cited in several books about pottery. Ex Arizona collection.
