I really loved the shape of the tree in the foreground and how it established the vast space between it and the Grand Mesa, which is lit up in the background some 15 miles distant. The clear, "bluebird" sky of a cold, crisp winter day and the waxing moon rising high perfectly complement these elements and further enhance the sense of an expansive view.
