Frank Sr. was set apart in Southwestern fashion by his Mediterranean-influenced design. Born in Messina, Italy in 1899, he brought with him a unique style that flavored his work all his life. This piece was acquired directly from the Patania Family from the personal collection of Mrs. Frank Patania Sr. When she passed away in 1974, her collection was split in amongst her three children.
