"The inspiration for this sculpture comes out of a fundraising event we hosted at our ranch for a therapeutic riding program. We brought in a variety of equine models; from cowboys & Indians to Burros & vaqueros’ for artists to paint, draw, sculpt, and photograph. One of the models was a nude seated bareback on one of my mares. For 5 hours the mare stood patiently as the nude model assumed various poses for the working artists. Moonlit is my expression of the unique experience." - Star Liana York
