Pair of Arapaho Beaded Teepee Possible Bags c. 1890s, 13" x 19" x 4" (DW91941C-0618-001)

This piece is in excellent condition; there is very minimal bead loss. The canvas bag itself is not original to the piece. The original beadwork, which dates c. 1890, was attached to a canvas bag, probably around the 1940s . Each bag measures 13" x 19" x 4". Acquired from a private collection in New York. Owner originally purchased these bags for $10,000 in 1990. The owner has authorized us to lower the price from $8,900 to $8,000. This is an excellent collector's opportunity.
